Day 1 (19th) : Arrive in Taipei

Day 2 (20th) : Taipei North

- Take a picture of Grand Hotel

- Go to the Shinlin Night Market

- Eat interesting food

- Walk around

Day 3 (21th) : Taipei South

- Taipei New Park (Watch people in the morning practicing Ta'i chi and Shaolin)

- Huahsi St. / Snake Alley - Eat snake food and snake drink

- Lungshan Temple

- Taipei 101 Building

- Din Tai Fung Restaurant

Day 4 (22th) : Day trip to Yehliu Park

- Weird stone formations

Day 5 (23th) : Day trip to Tan shui (Dan shui)

- Bike around, apparently nice place

Day 6 (24th) : Day trip to Jioufen

- Walk around (City that Spirited Away was based after?)

Day 7 (25th) : Day trip to Wulai

- Hot springs

Day 8 (26th) : Day trip to Maokong

- Tea Tasting

Day 9 (27th) : Scooter rental down to Taroko Gorge

- Start from West and drive East

- End up in Hualien

Day 10 (28th) : Hualien

- Yuanyeh (?) Restaurant that serves goat milk in tea

- Stone Market and Stone Sculpture Museum

Day 11 (29th) : Scooter down east coast

- Stop at various villages

- Maybe end at Taitung

Day 12 (30th) : Scooter to Zhushan/Jhushan

- Ignore Kaohsiung (just port city)

- Alishan National Scenic Park

- Step Suspension Bridge (maybe?)

Day 13 (31th) : Scooter back to Taipei

Day 14 (1st) : Free Day

Day 15 (2nd) : Flight to Tokyo

Notes:

Maybe spend more time in Hualien

Mountain covered with flowers - Chikeshan or sixty tan

mountain in Yu-Li in Hualien

Chi-Sun lunchbox in Taitung and Kwan-Shen township

Sea scenery at Thai-Ma-Li, also a flower season

Western Taiwan - Lu-gun and Tainan might be worth visiting
